Bermuda Holidays
There is something of the lost city of Atlantis about Bermuda. Today’s small string of islands are effectively the tip of a long-extinct volcano – a volcano that rose up more than 15,000 feet from the floor of the Atlantic Ocean.
It’s easy to imagine that ancient civilisations could have existed so many miles from any of our vast continents. But fly or cruise out for a holiday on Bermuda and you’ll find a modern, prosperous and extraordinarily affluent destination. It’s a place where the Queen’s head looks out from the bank notes and the bankers themselves wear jackets, ties – and the original Bermuda shorts.
We’ve spoken to travel agents and returning holiday makers to research this independent website and we’ve found that Bermuda is one of those places that attracts many of the same people year after year. There’s something about the pink sand beaches and the rich blue seas that stays in people’s minds and draws them back for visit after visit. Head out there yourself to find out if the same magic will work on you. Here’s what you’ll find.
